Amazon Ads Partners, a division of Amazon Ads, came to us to commission templates to elevate their content on LinkedIn and Youtube. They had multiple series that included webinars, zoominterviews, case studies, and more. However, they had no consistent styling or graphics that spoke to the brand whatsoever. Because of their volume of output, they wanted to keep the editing in-house with their marketers, but have easy to use templates that even a non-editor could engage with inside of Adobe Premiere. The solution was to create incredibly flexible templates that had simple exposed controls, and had procedural animation that could accomodate most content. There were lots of open ended variables like amount of copy, title length, number of speakers on screen, text on screen, and the list goes on.
I developed these templates to automatically size to anything their team could throw at them, and still look clean and follow brand guidelines. There was a ton of expression work that went into these. All the templates can output horizontal, vertical, HD or 4k, with multiple preset color schemes, program titles, and manual overrides for most controls in case they need to break outside the box. Even the manual overrides are simple to use though, and give the editor access to simple position sliders or text input. They were very pleased with the deliverables, and immediately put them to work. Along with the video templates, a fellow designer at Gupta delivered a whole bunch of static templates as well. In all, it really transformed their online presence. These were made in 2024 to 2024 guidelines. Following Amazon's brand update in 2025, these are going to be looking for a refresh as well!
