Odds and Ends

Here you can find more projects I'm proud of, but maybe not significant or recent enough to deserve their own portfolio entry. This page is subject to always be changing, but enjoy what you find here! These projects range from fun sketches to full on projects I was involved in.

The Vex Collection - Promo

ANIMATION

I made this for a friend, and it's just plain fun. He wanted a social post to promote an experimental jazz album. How could I say no? It might not be my daily listen, but the visuals sure were fun.

King of Nowhere - Promo

ANIMATION

Another album promo for a friend who was self releasing their own self titled album, King of Nowhere. The animation repurposes the album art to tell a story directed by the musical artist. Give it a listen!

Goodcry - Promo

ANIMATION

Just a simple little loop of an eye shedding a tear, and the tear's transformation.

Spectrum, Atomic Kid Studios- Moviebeam Casting

ALL ANIMATION

This was a project brought to me by Atomic Kid Studios on behalf of Spectrum. They had a storyboard worked out, which I ended up making edits too at their request. I then animated this entire video. I really like the way that the motion turned out on this video, and I think it's a good example of taking a rather dry topic and making it more engaging through video.

NextDoor, Ancillary Post - Anthem

MGFX

I was brought in to execute the motion graphics on this project by Ancillary Post (one of a few projects I worked on with them). All graphics were done by me.

National Geographic- Stopping Pandemics Motion Package

ANIMATION & VIDEO LEAD

I handled this project while at HangarFour. I imagine everyone in the industry got their chance at a pandemic specific project at the time. This was one of mine, and I'm proud of how it turned out. While I only have the intro animation shown here, this was part of an entire graphics package for a live video conference event in the depth of the pandemic. Not shown is a lower third template, text on screen, and multiple variants of a videoconferencing layout featuring different numbers of speakers. All the fun different ways to elevate people's zoom links.
